FOUNDING OF FARRELL

Farrell was founded in 1961 by brothers Ollie and Paddy Farrell, both cabinetmakers. Paddy has since retired but Ollie is still actively involved in the running of the business today.

In its early days the company increased its business by producing wooden television cabinets for German television company Telefunken as well as also producing wooden fire surrounds for the Glen Dimplex Group.
